At Storieman, we believe your privacy and your family's privacy are paramount. This policy explains how we handle your information.
What We Collect
- Account Information: Email address for authentication.
- Story Data: Names, ages, and interests you provide for story personalization. Generated stories if you choose to save them.
- Usage Data: Basic analytics to improve our service (language preferences, story types used).
What We Don't Collect
We don't sell your data to advertisers. We don't track you across the web. We don't store sensitive information about children beyond what's needed for story personalization.
AI and Your Data
Stories are generated using Anthropic's Claude AI. The information you provide (names, interests, story context) is sent to generate your story but is not used to train AI models. Generated stories are only saved if you explicitly choose to save them.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted providers to deliver our service:
- Vercel: Hosting and deployment
- Supabase: Database and authentication
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Anthropic: AI story generation
Children's Privacy
Storieman is designed for families. While stories can be created for children, accounts must be created by adults. We minimize data collection about children to only what's necessary for story personalization.
Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
